Coffee from Sagada is one of the Philippine’s well-kept secrets. It is also one of the most difficult to source due to its limited supply, hence its rarity to reach Canada’s distant shores.
We are pleased to partner with Manong (‘older brother’ in Ilocano) George in his microlot coffee that won 5th place at the Philippine Coffee Quality Competition — quite impressive for a first time participant. From Demang, Sagada, in breathtaking Mountain Province, Manong George believes that coffee farming is a wise stewardship of their ancestral land.
